Drove an hour for these tacos and yes it was worth it! BEST street tacos we’ve ever tried! We got burritos for the road back and they were also delicious!
My favorite spot for street food in LA. I came back 2 days in a row. They have the best alpastor burrito I’ve ever had. It’s a biblical experience.
Make sure to ask for cheese, they griddle it on for you so it tastes extra toasty.
They will ask if you want pineapple with alpastor. You want pineapple.
Make sure to add the red salsa at the end before they roll it up for you.
They are such a friendly and kind staff. I truly loved my experience and so much value in the food. The amount of meat alone is wild.
Expect a wait but it’s SO WORTH it!
I've gotta say, these tacos are really something special. The food here is consistently delicious, and their selection of tacos, burritos, and mulitas is impressive. The quality of the ingredients really shines through.
But, fair warning, it's a cash-only spot, and there's almost always a line due to its popularity. Plus, there's no seating available – it's all about grabbing your food to go.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the flavor experience is totally worth it!
Is it 45 minute wait good? Close.
It is 15 minute wait good? Yes.
The level of expectation should be: a 45 minute wait on Friday night (10pm).
I ordered 2 pastor (pork) tacos, 1 asade (beef), 1 burrito, and 2 chicken mulitas.
Tacos were good. 4 star. I prefer a hard shell bc I’m westernized and they serve soft shell. The burrito? It’s great. It has slight crisp to it and it’s similar in size to Chipotle. On the plus side, you can add your own onions, chives, green and red sauces.
The mulita? Like a mini quesadilla with less emphasis on the cheese, which I prefer. The pineapple water ($3)? 4 star. Good, solid; but not blow you over 5 star.
Overall, it’s. 4-4.5 star and if I’m feeling it, I could round up. If you are a Mexican food fan, you’d give a 5 star.
For my 50th birthday, some buddies of mine and I did a Southern CA weekend trip that included dinner at Brothers Cousins Tacos on Saturday night. I had seen them mentioned on Food Network and across too many food blogs to count... All saying that their burritos are simply the best. I needed to test this for myself. I ordered an al pastor burrito with all the fixings and ate it right there in the parking lot. Wow! I was blown away by how incredible that burrito was! But, believe it or not, what was better than the burrito was how fun and interactive the staff was. Thank you so much for making our visit to your incredible Mexican food setup so welcoming and fun. I am already looking forward to my next visit to LA to come back!!!
The best Tacos and Burritos I have tried in L.A so far. The vibe is great. The meat is delicious and full flavor. If you don’t want to experience long queue, make sure get here around 6 pm. We arrived 5.45 pm and there are already 10 people ahead of me. Staff are friendly and you can see how fresh they cook front of you.
Honestly the best al pastor street tacos you can find in LA. Get ready to wait 20 minutes in line but well worth it.
I waited for a long time on the line, but if they ask me if it was worthy, I would absolutely say yes. Definetly the best tacos of Los Angeles. Just come to the "posto" sooner.
